Warehouse uses the Delfour Corporation Smart Enterprise Suite,
SE v2.3 comprised of Warehouse Logic (WMS) and Delfour Active
Desktop (DAD) that is industry software utilizing Oracle Database
Server 10g and Oracle Application Server 9i. The software runs
on a UNIX platform, specifically, HP-UX 11.11 running on an
HP K Class 9000 series computer.
Some features include: automatic faxing or E-mail of reports
and documents, document imaging, real time inventory (no batch
posting), inventory level and SKU level flexibility, direct E-mail,
barcode capability, EDI, FTP, and access via VPN or direct dial
in. It has the capability for unlimited profiles for: customers,
items, picking processes, billing schemes, and inventory rotation.
We also have Internet browser-based inquiries for inventory,
orders, receipts, and reports. We can handle your specific inventory
needs as well as your connectivity and communication requirements.
Our software technology has the current built-in capacity to
handle EDI, RF, Bar-coding (multiple symbologies), and direct
FTP on a dial-up or E-mail file format. We can also send you
on a request basis or a scheduled basis, documents, forms, and
reports that you require.
Our software developer, Delfour Corporation,
in conjunction with a number of 3PL Users and Industry vendors
has created an RFID Consortium to remain abreast of this newly
developing technology. This consortium will drive the direction
of development of the future releases of the Delfour Smart Enterprise
Suite. This will ensure that we will have the capability in place
when the industry begins to deploy some standardized use of RFID.
IBM (Sensors and Actuators Division) projects that this technology
will be common in the 3PL market by 2006.
Our communication via fax, phone, computer,
and Internet through our own web site, are different ways to
get information to us or from us. With all of this new and
emerging technology our major breakthrough is the way we answer
the phone when you call - A PERSON! Yes,
we actually do utilize the uncommon practice of friendly, courteous
people to answer the phones so you don't have to travel through
cyberspace to talk to someone here.
